Welcome to the newest shooter information site on the web- our Virginia Rifle and Pistol Club blog. We are here at the request of membership during the meeting October 2 and hopefully will meet your needs as an interested shooter, or one just getting started with firearms.
Old members and friends- welcome. It's a pleasure to see you here. New friends and prospective members- a hearty welcome to you! Hopefully the VRPC can answer all your needs as a gun enthusiast.
A couple of notes about the club.
Membership is based on an NRA membership and approval of the active membership of the club. If you would like an application to join, please let us know and we can mail an application, or you can find them at local gunshops and shooting areas. In the works is an on-line application you should be able to download, print and mail to the club secretary.
Regular meetings are held where business is conducted and new members approved- and it never hurts to be there to be welcomed into the fold or just to learn what we're about.
Located on the Laurentian Divide, two miles north of Virginia, we have three kinds of ranges: a one hundred yard small bore/pistol range; a five hundred yard large caliber rifle range; and a shotgun area. When arriving, be sure to obey the signs, be aware of shooters in the area and never carry loaded firearms off the firing line.
ABSOLUTELY NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ON THE GROUNDS!

October 17: Steel Action Match (last of the season) 10 a.m.
The next scheduled CCW class is set for October 20-21 Contact Dan for more info.
October 24/25, 31 and November 1: Sight-in days, open to the public to get their deer rifle sighted in. 0900 to 1600+/-
